Your donations help the Elko Cancer Network to achieve our mission
To connect cancer patients/survivors with volunteers and/or providers that can offer support and needed services during and after cancer treatments.
Donations help provide funding for patient travel expenses, such as gas cards or assistance with hotel/housing (some restrictions apply); financial aid to assist with rent, groceries, and utilities while patients undergo treatment (some restrictions apply); patient support, such as wigs, hats, turbans, and hairdressing services (for patients who have lost or are losing hair due to treatment); therapy such as speech, occupational and nutritional therapy as well as support groups.
To educate the community on the prevention and early detection of cancer.
The Elko Cancer Network aims to provide important cancer education at area health fairs, community centers, and other local events. Your donations help us to provide the educators and materials needed to reach the greatest audience.

It costs almost $80 to drive from Elko County to Salt Lake City or Reno.
The average cost of a hotel room for one night in Salt Lake City is $165 and Reno is $110.
Cancer patients can expect to pay anywhere from $1,000 to $12,000 per month on their prescription drug coverage.
That’s why our program is so beneficial to cancer patients in Elko County. Your donations enrich their lives in the form of Visa gift cards that can be used to purchase anything the recipient needs to help keep them happy and well taken care of.
